RCG bolsters environmental team in Taiwan
Renewables Consulting Group (RCG) has appointed Chris Lee as a senior associate in the company’s Taiwan office.
Lee is an environmental engineer and is an experienced project manager performing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and evaluations for numerous offshore wind sites and other energy projects.
The company said he will help RCG support increased EIA activity due to the growing offshore wind activity now occurring in Taiwan.
Lee comes to RCG from Sinotech, where he was project manager for offshore wind.
Prior to that, he was an environmental engineer for Taiwan Green, where he assisted business and industry in carbon and greenhouse gas reduction efforts.
RCG director for the APAC region Laura Evertsen said: “We are delighted that Chris has joined the RCG team at what is an extremely exciting time for the offshore wind industry in Taiwan.
“With a background in environmental engineering and deep experience in environmental impact assessments, most recently for offshore wind in Taiwan, Chris’ skillset means that RCG is well-placed to support the growth of offshore wind in the third round development in Taiwan.
“Together with the existing team members in the Taipei office we are very excited with the breadth of skills and services that the Taiwan team can now offer.”
